YP is for ages 13-18 years (Year 9 to Year 13). We are passionate about creating a safe space where young people can ask the important questions that shape and develop their own relationship with God. We know that teen years can be filled with uncertainty as you explore and find your identity, and that goes for faith too!
Sundays
On a normal Sunday morning in-person, we all start off in the main hall from 10.30am, adults and kids together for worship, this lasts around 20 minutes. Then the kids and young people go off into their age groups. YP is a mixture of activities and bible-based teaching and discussion. We have opportunities to pray for each other and learn about how we practically live out a life that the bible talks of- Faith in action.
Other YP Events
As well as meeting on Sunday mornings, we also have socials on a Friday evening (8pm-10pm). This is a mixture of activities, whether just chilling together with food, or something out and about- ice-skating, bowling etc.
We also have special events throughout the year, including a weekend away- there are so many fun opportunities to get stuck in!
